We provide comprehensive services to families and seniors in Southeast Los Angeles and surrounding communities. Our range of programs addresses the unique and shared needs of clients of all ages.
When the COVID-19 virus began spreading in early 2020, we acted quickly to ensure we could provide critical support to our communities during the pandemic.
To ensure our seniors’ safety, we closed our congregate meals sites and transferred our clients to our home-delivered meals program. Additionally, we increased our deliveries to 20,000 meals per week to meet increased need in our communities.
Our family services and "Pasitos" early childhood education departments, now unable to meet with clients directly, shifted to teleconferencing, phone services, and virtual classrooms to ensure our clients were not left without support.
We’re proud of the transition we were able to accomplish in just a few months’ time thanks to our staff's dedication and effort.
We offer high-quality early education that promotes children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth for later success in school. Our comprehensive services support the entire family’s well-being via health and nutrition services that are developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate.

Our family services department offers a range a programs that increase protective factors and reduce domestic violence, child abuse, and other crimes in our communities. We also offer additional critical programs, including our home visiting services, which empower community members during their parenting journey, and health enrollment assistance services.

Our senior services department offers programs that support the health and wellbeing of seniors in our communities. With services ranging from home-delivered meals, to home-based care, to linkages to other vital community resources, our team ensures clients are able to live safely in the comfort of their own home.
After years of marriage, Barbara found herself in a challenging situation when her husband, Juan, began experiencing the effects of Alzheimer’s disease. Read their story to see how our senior services team has helped Juan manage his condition at our Adult Day Care Resource Center.
