When the COVID-19 virus began spreading in early 2020, we acted quickly to ensure we could provide critical support to our communities during the pandemic.
To ensure our seniors’ safety, we closed our congregate meals sites and transferred our clients to our home-delivered meals program. Additionally, we increased our deliveries to 20,000 meals per week to meet increased need in our communities.
Our family services and "Pasitos" early childhood education departments, now unable to meet with clients directly, shifted to teleconferencing, phone services, and virtual classrooms to ensure our clients were not left without support.
We’re proud of the transition we were able to accomplish in just a few months’ time thanks to our staff's dedication and effort.
We offer high-quality early education that promotes children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth for later success in school. Our comprehensive services support the entire family’s well-being via health and nutrition services that are developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate.
