Home-Based Educator - Early Head Start

The Home-Based Educator provides child development services, social services, health services and parent involvement services to families, including home visits, socializations, advocacy and crisis intervention in accordance with federal, state and program guidelines. Responsible for delivering prenatal education and home-based education, as defined by Head Start Performance Standards, to families and services which include: planning safe, developmentally appropriate experiences for pregnant women and in-home settings that are appropriate to the needs of each family. Develops and implements partnerships with families, including collaboration on child goals. Assists families with building on their strengths and develops plans to address areas of concern.
