Rider Relief Transportation Program

The Rider Relief Transportation Program (RRTP) provides fare subsidy coupons to eligible MTA, Long Beach Transit, Montebello Bus Lines, Norwalk Transit, and Foothill Transit bus riders who purchase weekly or monthly passes. Eligible participants include, adults, K-12 and college/vocational students, senior citizens, and the disabled.

RRTP subsidy coupons are available to Los Angeles County residents whose household income levels meet the following criteria:  Criteria Chart

If you do not see your city in either list and live in the Gateway or San Gabriel Valley cities, please call us at (562) 806-0250

If eligible, please mail a completed and signed application, along with a copy of your TAP card (front and back), photo ID, and proof of income (please see below for a list of acceptable documents) to:

Proof of income documents include one (1) copy of the following;

1) Pay check stub; or
2) Public benefits statement or card; or
3) Lifeline gas, light, or telephone bill
